Pinky Scout is turning 4!  Novemebr 7th,your favorite children’s boutique is having a huge party and you are invited!

Here are some of the events we have planned for the big day!

• Visit Spongebob Squarepants at our store from 10-6pm.  Mr. Squarepants will be making a special apperance to meet and greet all the kids (and parents – come on, even my grandma loves Spongebob!) and take pictures with him.
• Take a whirl in our Pinky Scout Cash Machine!  From 1-3 pm make a purchase of $25 or more and spend 20 seconds in the amazing Pinky Scout Cash Machine and try to grab all the “cash” you can to be used on a future purchase.  We’ll stock the machine with $100’s of dollars!
• Huge storewide SALE event that day!  Lots of merchandise will be on sale for 1 day only and you will sure to be find everything you need on your Holiday list!
• Cake and cupcakes for all!

Pinky Scout's Birthday Bash!

Be on the look out on channel 2 (NBC-Dayton/Springfield) for our new commercial! With the help of WDTN producers, the making of this ad was truly a family affair. The three girls featured at the beginning of the ad are our daughters – three cousins from each of the three sisters that run Pinky Scout.
During taping it took quite a bit of effort to get the kids’ shots – it was like herding cats! They were a bit nervous and excited and being their usual silly selves. It was too cute.
The voiceover was done in one take by my sister, Julie!
The ad has been airing in the mornings – usually during the Today Show, and the girls are getting a kick out of seeing themselves on TV. Imagine taping a show on TiVo and fast-forwarding *to* the commercials!
